how did i change?

asked this question to friends and family back in the states after i had hung out with them for a bit. here were some of the responses:

• you're more sarcastic/cynical.
• more sarcastic.
• you sound more white. (???)
• you're more feminine/ladylike.  (LOL. still trying to figure out this one.)
• you look exactly the same.
• you look the same.
• you're not tan at all.
• you're not dark at all. were you really in africa?
• more mature.
• more mellow.
• you appreciate every thing. like every.single.little.thing.
